The Woodside Clinic’s therapists provide around 400 treatments each week!

In 1988 Jonathan Betser started working in Dunstable. He soon required colleagues to support the growing number of patients who wanted treatment. Many of our patients have returned to us for the treatment of different complaints over the years and although we’ve expanded considerably since 1988, there are still several of us that you will know even if you haven’t visited us for a while! Acupuncturist Helen Taylor-Weekes for example has been helping (and entertaining!) our patients since 1989 and our Clinic supervisor, Jeanette Ward, has been valiantly keeping things together since 1992. We now have clinics, across Bedfordshire, in Bedford, Dunstable, Leighton Buzzard and Shefford. Patients can also be seen in London's Harley Street on Monday mornings.

We pride ourselves on offering a friendly, professional and personal approach. So, whether you’re visiting us to see an Osteopath, for Physiotherapy treatment, a Pilates class, chiropody/podiatry or one of the variety of other therapies we offer, whoever you see will be fully qualified and committed to providing a caring treatment experience that’s as gentle and effective as possible.

Although many people consider seeing an Osteopath for back pain, we have Osteopaths with a variety of special interests in areas such as sports injuries (- work has included the Manchester 2002 Commonwealth Games, Nottingham Forest FC, Tottenham Hotspur FC, Luton Town FC, the Great Britain Gymnastics, Tumbling and Trampoline squads and various competitions all over the world), the treatment of children and Whiplash injuries.  Our Physiotherapy provision also includes Physiotherapists with special interests in the treatment of Back pain, sports injuries, head injuries, jaw problems and knee and ankle injuries.
 
Our Body Control Pilates is offered for individuals or ‘two people only’ sessions at all three clinics and we offer small group classes in Leighton Buzzard. If you attend a course of Pilates with us you’ll find that your programme will planned with your specific, personal requirements in mind (- and in conjunction with whoever else you might be seeing in the clinic)

Almost all our treatments have therapists who are recognised by BUPA, PPP etc.

Closure Times for Our Dunstable Clinic

We are working hard with our builder to ensure that there is the minimum of disruption to the clinic. They have agreed to do most knock-through work at weekends, so hopefully (!!), there will be no actual need to close the practice at any stage. A contingency plan has been very kindly agreed with Mr Lipschitz of the Great Northern Road Dental Clinic who will help us out with a room if we need one - we're most grateful to them.
