I have been attending Woodside Clinic. The staff make you feel comfortable about your safety there. When you arrive you are asked to use the hand sanitizer and they check your temperature, which is logged. The staff are using all the appropriate face masks, gloves, and aprons.They sanitize everything before you arrive and after you leave. I have been seeing Pratik, an osteopath. He makes me feel at home and checks it’s okay before doing anything. He’s made a great job sort my shoulder out. I would recommend them.”

I have been using Woodside Clinic for group Pilates classes to strengthen my core. I have two prolapsed discs and need to learn to strengthen the muscles around that area. The instructor was very helpful and provided me with clear instructions and exercises that will help. The Reformer seems to be an amazing piece of equipment too.I chose Woodside initially for their availability late in the evening due to work commitments but the small classes are definitely a bonus due to the amount of personal instruction you receive. I’d most definitely recommend them.

Mr A is a 45 year old van driver who was recommended to try Pilates by his osteopath to help strengthen his core and improve his posture.
After an initial postural assessment and taking some background history, Mr A mentioned he had booked a skiing holiday and really wanted to feel fitter and stronger for his trip to help prevent any injury.

We decided that Pilates on the Reformer would be a great way to achieve this, with the spring loaded resistance to strengthen and lengthen muscles .The basic principles of Pilates were taught first then a programme devised to strengthen abdominals quadriceps, glutes and improve scapular stability also ankle stability.

After returning from his skiing holiday injury free, Mr A felt the benefits of Pilates had definitely helped him and continues to attend sessions on a weekly basis.
